This Maltese crusader with his back to the door is perfect for guarding your treasure trove of books. The detail in the sculpture is amazing with each individual link visible in the chainmail armor of the knight. The figure is shown wielding his shield and mighty sword, protecting a book or anything else that you choose to put behind him. Set him on a bookshelf as one of a pair or at the end of a row. The metallic bronze finish is finished off with hand-painted red tints so that there is no need to imagine the power that this figure holds, it is well evident. He is a great gift for anyone who is a military history buff or a collector of medieval art.
