This J.FitzPatrick double monk is made with a navy calf lower and a navy suede monk strap, giving it a subtle mix of texture without shouting about it. The punch detail on the toe adds a little interest, while the dark color keeps the shoe sharp and very wearable.
It is a good example of a dress shoe with just enough difference to matter. Not loud, not boring, and thankfully not another plain black monk strap pretending to be exciting. A smart pair for someone who likes dark shoes but still wants a bit of character.
